Description
The 30 gallon steel drum is designed, manufactured, and certified to meet UN requirements for hazardous materials under DOT 49 CFR with a UN Rating 1A1/X1.8/300. This blue 30 gallon tight head drum is constructed of first quality cold rolled steel with a rust inhibitor interior and has 2 inch and 3/4 inch NPS fittings.
Steel drums are environmentally friendly since they can be recycled or reconditioned and re-purposed.

- Question: Can I use Water In the Steel Drum? By B, Johnson
- Answer: No. A rust inhibitor will prevent flash rust on our unlined/uncoated drums, but if a customer needs a long-term rust-resistant drum or a drum that can safely contain chemical materials an unlined drum will not suffice.

The barrel was made into a barrel stove to be used in our family Finnish Saunna. The stove kit we purchased separetly fit the barrel perfect. The old frame we used had a rusted 30 gal barrel in it. We had to do a lot of searching to find another new barrel until we found your website and what a relief that was. Thank you
