This is especially important on larger RVs that have extended plumbing running between the source point and the pump. This pump has a built in pressure switch which shuts off the pump when it reaches the desired psi. The strainer that comes with it keeps debris out of the pump. The pump builds pressure quickly and holds it well. Easy installation.
