Vent, 2inch Vertical Dual-Action Drum Vent Polyethylene & Stainless
Prevents dangerous pressure build-up and airlock FM-Approved
If your drums of flammable liquids are exposed to heat or fire, the pressure buildup can rupture the drum and fuel the fire. Vent plugs automatically open at 5 psi/internal pressure to protect the drum. Built-in flame arrestor prevents “flashback” ignition of the vented vapor to the drum contents.
Vertical Drum Vents have automatic dual-action pressure/vacuum with automatic vacuum relief. Fits 2" NPS bung opening.

This polyethylene 2 inch vertical safety vent with stainless steel flame arrestor is the ideal product if you are storing chlorinated solvents and corrosive chemicals, to prevent pressure build up or vacuum problems. It automatically vents pressure build-up between 3 and 8 psi (30 to 55 kPa) and relieves a vacuum for chug free dispensing or draining of vertical drums.

An automatic safety vent prevents that from happening by constantly venting the drum and its built-in flame arrestor prevents “flashback” ignition of the vented vapor to the drum contents. To use this safety vent with a horizontal drum attach the optional 2 inch adapter (SKU 88011) or the 3/4 inch adaptor (SKU 88015) To use this safety vent with a 3/4 inch bung opening on a vertically position drum, attach the optional vertical adapter (SKU 8RM05431).
