This silicone band heater measures 64 inches long and 3 inches wide. Containers with an outer diameter of 1/2 inch or more than 22.5 inches require a custom-made heater.

Please keep in mind that this 55 gallon drum heater should not be used with plastic drums or drums with a removable plastic liner.

Allowing liquid in a container to fall below the level of the heater renders the heater ineffective and may irreparably damage the baked on epoxy phenolic lining in lined steel drums.
