6500 Gallon Water Storage Tank – Poly-Mart manufactures a 6500 Gallon Water Storage Tank made from the highest quality FDA-Approved, NSF-Approved, Food-Grade, BPA-Free, High Density Polyethylene (HDPE). This material features built-in UV inhibitors to avoid color fading and break down from harsh sunlight. Our 6500 Gallon Water Storage Tank is designed for above ground use and like other polyethylene holding tanks, they are not suitable in applications where the tank inself would be under pressure. This tank 120”Diamter x 152”High Plastic Water Tank has a total capacity of 6500 Gallons when completely full and they’re available to be ordered in 13 different color!

Black, Dark Green are the most popular Plastic Water Storage Tank colors, therefore we take our Dark Green & Black material through an extra process called “Compounding”. The Compounding process adds pigment at a high enough and even enough concentration to completely block UV Rays. Although this costs us more to take our material through this process, we know it makes for a better performing product and is a big part of what makes up the “Poly-Mart Difference“. Unlike any Water Storage Tank sold at a Big Box Retailer, our tanks are pitch dark inside which keeps waterborne algae from growing inside your tank and causing on-going tank mantainence. However, since Dark Grey & Dark Brown are naturally dark colors, these colors do a great job at limiting UV light penetration and will preform just as good as any Dark Green or Black Tank sold at a Big Box Retailer.

Like all of our Vertical Tanks, the Poly-Mart 6500 Gallon Water Storage Tank is designed with 4 molded-in Dome Flats on the top of the tank and 4 Layout Flats at the base of the tank. These 8 flat spaces set our tank design apart from others and provide flat surfaces for installation of additional Outlet/Inlet fittings, Tank Over Flow Fittings and Tank Components like Float Switches & Tank Gauges. Your Installer or Contractor will love having flexibility when needing to install additional fittings for your application. If you would like to order your tank with additional fittings please consult with your distributor.
