Disposable Desiccant Cartridge for Drums

This is a Disposable Cartridge provide an economical and versatile means for preventing moisture contamination in drums.

This DRIERITE Disposable Desiccant Cartridge dries displacement air entering storage drums to -100° F dewpoint.

The indicator window turns grains from blue to pink when the cartridge needs to be replaced.

The primary use prevents condensation of water vapor inside the drum which results in preventing contamination.

Use with the adapters (Part Number 8DR50001), which is available for 3/4" or 2" NPT openings on Drums.

As liquid is drained out of a drum, air moves in. If the air is humid the water can condense in the drum and damage the contents.
The desiccant cartridge dries the air as it enters the drum. Disposable cartridge absorbs up to .2 pounds of water vapor, dries air to a dew point of (–100º F)

An indicator window in cartridge changes from blue to pink when the cartridge needs to be replaced. The dryer cartridge is filled with calcium sulfate and measures 2 11/16 inch Diameter x 10 inch Long. An adapter (SKU 8404ADPT) mounts the cartridge in 3/4 inch or 2 inch NPS bung openings.
