Attach a Kontrol Karrier™ drum dumper to a hoist and pour from drums at the desired height. Chain-operated gear drive rotates the drum forward or backward to any angle using a 6' loop chain drop and a 30:1 or 60:1 gear drive—order with a factory-installed MORStop Tilt Brake mechanism to stop and hold the drum tilt angle automatically.

Diameter adapters allow the Kontrol Karrier™ to be used with different diameter size drums and are available for specific models in the 185 series. Spark-resistant units and units with capacities up to 2,500 lb. are available through particular orders.

You can dump drums at the ideal height by suspending a Kontrol KarrierTM drum dumper from a crane. Using a 30:1 or 60:1 gear drive and a 6' loop chain drop, the drum may be rotated forward or backward to any angle, and the tilt angle can be held automatically with the addition of a MORStop Tilt Brake mechanism, which can be ordered from the factory.

For some versions in the 185 series, Kontrol KarrierTM diameter adapters are available, allowing the carrier to be utilized with drums of varying diameters. Units with spark resistance and capacities up to 2,500 pounds are available on a particular order.

To pour from drums at any height, hook up the sturdy MORSE® Kontrol Karrier to a hoist. It can carry full drums weighing up to 1500 pounds or 800 pounds. Since a half-filled drum is bottom-heavy, the weight changes differently when tilted than in the case of a full drum. The 60:1 gear and sprocket ratio on this Kontrol Karrier allows for more precise tilt regulation.

The MORcinchTM drum handling system, found on the heavy-duty Kontrol Karrier, can be adjusted automatically to accommodate drums with diameters ranging from 22 inches to 23 and a half inches. It also incorporates a sliding idler and stress-relieving weld joints. The cinch chain cover is flexible to improve grip and shield the drum's sidewall.

Using a 12-foot draw chain, this gear drive can spin the drum in either direction at any angle. The drum may be manually rotated to the necessary slope for high-level pouring by wrapping a chain of sufficient length around the gear drive and leaving a drop of a chain of the same size for pulling.

It allows for precise overhead pouring from three feet and fits 55-gallon steel drums. The gear ratio of 60:1 included in motor Hoists, flushes, spins and carries Quarter Drum Weight Limit: 800 lbs. Options Smaller-diameter drums may be managed using the unit's Drum Diameter Adapters. MORStopTM Tilt Brake automatically stops and retains the tilt angle of the drum, along with a Bracket (SKU 4556-P) or Rim Clamp (SKU 4560) for handling plastic and fiber drums.

It's essential to keep in mind that not all MORSE® units are compatible with all available styles and sizes. Manual tilt mechanisms are regarded as standard on specific units but are replaceable with either a Hand Crank (SKU X02-185HD) or a Hand Wheel (SKU X03-185HD).
